A braced system
For people who feel held, guarded, or worn out by tension, and who want a session that does not push.
Craniosacral therapy
Craniosacral therapy is a gentle hands-on approach. The contact is light. Much of it is around the head, the spine, and the sacrum. The aim is to listen, and to give your system a chance to settle. It is not a forceful adjustment, and it is not a usual massage.
Ryan offers it in Folsom, at the same office as his Rolfing practice: 101 Parkshore Drive.
How it fits
Ryan is a Certified Rolfer. He has also completed Levels 1 and 2 of Upledger Craniosacral Therapy. That training sits next to his Somatic Experiencing certification and his NeuroAffective Touch certification.
Rolfing looks at posture, fascia, and how the whole body is organized in gravity. Somatic Experiencing works with stress and overwhelm through sensation, pacing, and the body’s own settling. Craniosacral therapy is the quieter end of that same interest: less pressure, more listening.
It is not medical care, and it is not a promise to fix a diagnosis. If something is severe, new, or worrying, see the right medical provider. This work can be a calm complement. It is not a replacement.
Who it may help
For people who feel held, guarded, or worn out by tension, and who want a session that does not push.
Some people already receive Rolfing and want a lighter visit. Others start here because deep pressure is not what they want today.
A fit if you want to feel more settled and more present. Not a fit if you need a medical or dental treatment plan.
What it feels like
You rest. The contact stays light. There is time, and there is no push to make a particular thing happen. You can talk, or you can stay quiet.
If you want less touch, or you want to stop, say so. The same rule as the rest of the practice: the pace stays workable.
Wear comfortable clothes. The office is at 101 Parkshore Drive in Folsom. Practical questions are on the FAQ.
